Ever thought how cool it would be to be able to chat to your mates in other cars when out cruising, without the cost of mobiles, and with a whole group being able to chat together?
Perfect for a bit of mickey-taking and jokery, as well as the more serious stuff ("i need petrol!" and "where do we go now?") on long journeys, etc - CB radio shook off it's "1970's trucker" reputation long ago, and is now the coolest way for groups of mates in separate cars to chat together...
If you and one or more vehicles regularly go out cruising or go to shows or events - you NEED CB radio - it's cheap... it's easy to install... virtually no-one uses it nowadays, leaving the channels clear for you and your mates... the serious advantages of having easy to use radio comms between a group of vehicles up to 5 miles apart are so many - add to this the fun factor of you and your passengers chatting to your friends in other vehicles, with no call costs or patchy mobile network coverage to worry about, PLUS whatever is said can be heard by one person is heard by the whole group, so the bigger the group, the more fun it is!
It aint sad, you don't need to talk in an american accent, and you don't need to call yourself "rubber duck" - just chat and have a laugh with your mates, wind a few people up, get traffic reports from truckers if you're on a motorway journey, and make going to any kind of event a WHOLE lot easier and enjoyable!
No more standing at the side of the road, arguing over a map, or tail-end charlie getting left behind cos his car has overheated... no more headaches if a red light splits your group in a busy unknown city centre... no more frantic ringing round everyones mobiles trying to organise a stop en-route... see why you need CB??

The little hand held PMR446 walkie talkies are OK for short range stuff, or wandering around outside the car, but for car-to-car range of 5 miles or more, CB radio is the daddy!

We are currently developing www.cruise-comms.co.uk but in the meantime, have a look at it's sister site : www.cbradio4minis.co.uk which tells you all you need to know about CB for most cars - not just minis!
